UK & International Deliveries

We have several shipping options available for both our UK and international customers:

Standard UK shipping – Royal Mail First Class - £2.95 for all orders. A cost effective reliable service for most orders.

Priority UK Shipping – Royal Mail Special Delivery – depends upon weight, starts from £4.95.For when you really need to make sure it arrives as soon as possible.

International – Airmail, available up to 2Kg per consignment, starting from £2.55, the cost depends upon the weight which will be detailed for you during checkout. Please also read our section on export orders for customs and tax information.

Our trade consignments are shipped via DHL at cost.

VAT on export orders

UK Sales Tax, currently 15%, is included in all quoted prices. All shipments out of the EU are free of sales tax which will be deducted during checkout. All EU orders are charged VAT unless a local tax number can be provided. Please contact us directly via telephone or email with your Tax Number should you wish to place a Vat exempt order within the EU.

Payment Methods

We accept payments by cheque by post payable in UK Sterling, Visa, Mastercard and Switch via telephone and via the website. Rest assured that your online payments are secure with our payment gateway services being provided by one of the industry leaders SagePay (up until recently known as Protx). All security policies required by SagePay and our merchant bank are fully implemented with none of your payment information being retained in-house for your privacy and information security.

Leadtime

We know that when you've made your purchase you'll be looking forward to receiving the items as soon as possible. As such we aim to ship sameday for orders received before midday Monday to Friday, while orders placed after this time may ship the same day or the following working day.

Availability

We pride ourselves in our ability to provide our customers exactly what they want when they want it and generally all our products are available from stock. However, our products are handmade and the high level of loving care and attention we put into every item can mean on very rare occasions that we may be out of stock on a particular item during very busy periods. We will of course contact you immediately if this is the case to provide a solution.

Returns

We put every effort into the creation of all Savonnerie products with attention to detail, very high quality ingredients and presentation our priority so we'resure you'll be very happy with your purchase. For hygiene reasons we are unable to accept returns unless of course for reasons of defective goods, damage in transit or incorrectly supplied goods where the fault rests with us. In which case we would be happy to provide a replacement.

Order and shipping notifications

It's always nice to know that your order has been received and we'll send you a notification of your transaction immediately after purchase. Similarly we'd like to keep you informed of when your item is actually on it's way to you so we'll also send you a brief message letting you know when your items have shipped.

Gift service

Our new Savonnerie Gift Service provides you with the perfect solution to show that special someone exactly how special they are. If the recipient of the item isn't local to you or you're perhaps short of time let us ship directly with the item beautifully wrapped and ribboned for that extra special touch. In addition you'll have the opportunity to include a gift message to make it that bit more personal.
